Hot on the heels of December 2023’s expansive – and predictably excellent – ‘DJs On Film’ EP, Tiger and Woods return with another no-nonsense, floor-focused 12-inch. The Italian pair’s trademark style, where tight loops from synth-heavy disco and boogie tracks are worked into a dancefloor frenzy over six to eight minutes, is evident on excellent opener ‘Fake You’ and the more thickset, bass-heavy disco-house jack of ‘Do It Do Me’. The long-serving twosome next deliver some fine 21st century electrofunk in the company of regular vocalist Em (‘Silly Little Games’, a summer 2024 anthem in the making), before rounding things off with the DJ Sneak-goes-French Touch heaviness of ‘Wild Stream’.
