Italian composer Gadi Sassoon debuts on A Strangely Isolated Place to present newly created sounds and abstract atmospheres. The Multiverse LP was created and composed on an immersive eight speaker surround sound setup, combined with analogue synths and live instruments in his Milan studio, plus incorporating his groundbreaking synthesis work as part of the NESS Project in Edinburgh. From moments of glistening, textured ambience as heard on ‘Life On A Tidally Locked Planet’, to moments of wonderfully organised chaos heard on ‘Young’s Modulus’ which soon leads into the glassy-eyed and bittersweet neo-classical epic ‘Chaos & Order’ and ending with final descent into a cavernous abyss on the haunting ‘Moto Perpetuo’. – Juno
