The 16th drop on Magic Wand finds the Balearic edit series welcomes Baz Bradley back after he made his debut outing on the last installment. He’s stepping in with the beauteous ‘Exstatic Love’, which takes its funky source material in a thoroughly cosmic direction. Dean Sunshine Smith opts for the sentimental, sing-a-long side of the Balearic tradition with ‘Give A Little Bit (Balearic Love Rework)’. Secret Soul Society takes things towards a sultry kind of deep house with some very familiar vocal snippets on ‘Groovin Up Slowly’ and Sermon 2 gets heavy on the feels with the massive synth lines of ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’. –Â Juno
