John Daly and Clone Royal Oak coming together was always going to give rise to some essential house and so it proves on this I Get So High EP. The title track is perfectly timeless house with sustained chords and steamy sax notes over nicely undercooked beats and topped with a steamy sax lead. The AM version is more soulful and wide open, warm and widely appealing. On the flip, ‘Two Days’ is a dusty house looper with nagging synths and passionate vocals. Alden Tyrell & Serge remix it into a swinging and chord-laced upbeat pumper that retains plenty of class.
